# Chart libraries

This app currently depends on both **Highcharts** and **Recharts**:

- **Highcharts** — complex customer reports (performance, allocation matrices, drill-downs).
- **Recharts** — lighter dashboard widgets and some report summaries.

New chart work should prefer **Recharts** for simple pies/bars and **Highcharts** only when the report needs features Recharts does not cover (multi-axis, stock-style tooling, large series).

Before removing either dependency, grep the codebase for `highcharts` and `recharts` imports and migrate report-by-report.
